How to debug the geogrid production line equipment?

Geogrid is a widely used material in civil engineering, mainly used to enhance soil, prevent landslides, and reinforce roadbeds. The equipment for geogrid production line usually includes extruders, tractors, cooling devices, stretching machines, cutting machines, etc. In order to ensure the normal operation of the production line and product quality, equipment debugging work is crucial.

1、 Preparation work before debugging

Equipment inspection

Mechanical part: Check whether the mechanical components of each equipment are intact, such as whether the screws are loose, whether the chains are lubricated, whether the belts are tensioned, etc.

Electrical part: Check whether the electrical circuit is connected correctly, and whether the motor, sensor, controller, etc. are working properly.

Hydraulic system: Check if the hydraulic oil is sufficient, if the oil pipes are securely connected, and if the hydraulic cylinders are running smoothly.

material preparation

Ensure that the raw materials required for production (such as polyethylene, polypropylene, etc.) are of qualified quality and prepared according to the formula.

Prepare the tools and spare parts that may be needed during the debugging process, such as wrenches, screwdrivers, lubricants, etc.

Security measures

Ensure that all operators wear necessary safety protective equipment, such as helmets, gloves, goggles, etc.

2、 Debugging steps

Extruder debugging

Preheating: Start the extruder and set the temperature of each heating zone according to the process requirements, usually between 160 ℃ and 220 ℃. Wait for the temperature to reach the set value and maintain it for a period of time to ensure uniform temperature.

Feeding: Add the prepared raw materials into the hopper of the extruder, start the screw rotation, and observe whether the materials are evenly fed into the extruder.

Extrusion: Adjust the screw speed to evenly extrude the material, and observe whether the appearance of the extruded material is smooth, bubble free, and free of impurities.

Traction machine debugging

Speed matching: Start the traction machine and adjust its speed to match the extrusion speed of the extruder, ensuring that the extruded material does not stretch excessively or loosen during the traction process.

Tension control: By adjusting the tension of the traction machine, ensure that the extruded material maintains uniform thickness and width during the traction process.

Cooling device debugging

Cooling water temperature: Set the temperature of the cooling water, usually 10 ℃ -20 ℃, to ensure that the extruded material can solidify quickly during the cooling process.

Cooling effect: Observe the cooling effect of the extruded material in the cooling device to ensure its surface is smooth and deformation free.

Stretching machine debugging

Stretching speed: Start the stretching machine and adjust its speed to match the speed of the tractor, ensuring that the extruded material does not break or stretch excessively during the stretching process.

Stretching ratio: Adjust the stretching ratio of the stretching machine according to product requirements to ensure that the product reaches the required strength and size.

Cutting machine debugging

Cutting length: Set the cutting length of the cutting machine according to product requirements to ensure consistent product dimensions.

Cutting accuracy: Adjust the cutting accuracy of the cutting machine to ensure a smooth and burr free cut.

3、 Precautions during debugging

temperature control

The temperature control of the extruder is a key factor affecting product quality and must be strictly set and adjusted according to process requirements.

The temperature of the cooling water should also be strictly controlled to avoid affecting the curing effect of the product due to high or low temperature.

speed-matching

The speed between each device must be matched to avoid excessive stretching or breakage of the product due to inconsistent speed.

During the debugging process, better matching points can be found by gradually adjusting the speed of each device.

tension control

The tension control of traction and stretching machines has a direct impact on the thickness and width of the product, and must be adjusted according to product requirements.

During the debugging process, the tension can be gradually adjusted by observing the appearance and size of the product to find a better setting value.

During the debugging process, operators must strictly follow the operating procedures to avoid equipment damage or personnel injury caused by improper operation.

During the debugging process, if any abnormal situation is found, the machine should be stopped immediately for inspection and troubleshooting before continuing debugging.

4、 Post debugging work

Equipment acceptance

After debugging is completed, a comprehensive inspection of each device should be conducted to ensure its normal operation and absence of faults.

Conduct quality inspection on the produced products to ensure they meet the process requirements and quality standards.

Records and Reports

Record various parameters and adjustments during the debugging process as a reference for future production and maintenance.
